I’m a culinary disciple of the Food Network, particularly of Alton Brown. And as such, I have an aversion for “uni-taskers,” so-called kitchen gadgets that are only for one thing and spend 99% of their time just taking up space in your kitchen. As AB puts it, the only uni-tasker in your kitchen should be a fire extinguisher, just in case. But I’m Italian, and this Meatball Grill basket may force me to say “Not so fast, AB!”
Made of stainless steel, this basket can cook up to twelve meatballs on your grill at a time and allow the fat to drain off for some flame broiled goodness. Just roll the meatballs, open it up, place them in and then close them. Then, it’s a flip half way through what is probably the same cooking time as a burger patty for some flame broiled Italian goodness that’s definitely “good eats.”
Cost is $50 from Williams Sonoma
